WGS Professor Dr. Philomina Okeke-Ihejirika: Leadership Innovator

In recognition of Canadian Innovation Week, the University of Alberta  turns a spotlight on the ways that research is bringing real change to real people. Among the scholars and projects celebrated for their innovation is WGS Professor Dr. Philomina Okeke-Ihejirika. Known to her students as Dr. Phil, Dr. Okeke-Ihejirika is a leadership generator whose work encourages and enables tomorrow’s diverse community leaders.
