Farhan Khalid

Biography and Resume

Farhan was born in Pakistan and completed his BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU). He received First Class Honors and was the Valedictorian for his cohort. Over the years Farhan has received numerous scholarships which have paved his journey as an international student in Hong Kong and Canada.

When it comes to student body and governance Farhan was one of the co-founders of the South Asian Society in PolyU and served as its Head of Events and Logistics. Farhan has also served as the student representative of the Departmental Advisory Committee for Mechanical Engineering and as a PolyU Attaché. In the University of Alberta Farhan has previously served as the Director of Academic Affairs at the ISA and will be serving as co-VP Academic Affairs ISA for the next term.
