Policy and Planning Committee

The University of Alberta Museums Policy and Planning Committee is a standing committee of the Provost and Vice President (Academic) and is made up of twelve representatives from across campus.

The committee submits annual reports to the University of Alberta's General Faculties Council detailing the achievements of the museum collections on campus for the academic year (July 1 to June 30).

Return of Cultural Property Subcommittee

The Return of Cultural Property Subcommittee is an ad hoc committee of the Policy and Planning Committee to guide the University of Alberta's process of responding to requests for the return of cultural property.

Curators' Committee

The Curators Committee fulfils an advisory role on all matters affecting the University of Alberta's collections and is a forum for information exchange. All University of Alberta designated curators and collections staff and students are welcome to attend meetings of the Curators Committee but only designated curators are eligible to vote.
