Why study this program?

Do you dream of becoming a PhysEd teacher? This combined program allows you to complete two degrees – a Bachelor of Kinesiology, and a Bachelor of Education (Secondary) – in just five years.

By studying Kinesiology, you’ll gain expertise in human movement, exercise science, and athletic movement, preparing you for a variety of related careers in teaching and sport.

You can also major in Physical Education as part of a four-year Bachelor of Education degree.

Michael, from Maskwacis, AB (Samson Cree Nation), is a graduate of the combined Kinesiology/Education degree. A former member of the Augustana Vikings basketball team, Michael is now employed as a teacher and continues to coach basketball and mentor Indigenous youth.
