Faces of WISEST: Andrea Ewanchuk

Andrea had never heard of geotechnical engineering until her WISEST Summer Research internship in 2002 and found her passion. She pursued a Master’s Degree in the same field as her WISEST program and now has been working in the field of geotechnical engineering for 6 years. She is even planning on pursuing it internationally. She thanks WISEST for introducing her to different fields of engineering as would never have known that her dream job existed with it. Andrea also learned how small the research community is as her Master’s supervisor was the same supervisor as the lab she did her SRP in.
