WGS Teaching Opportunity

The Department of Women's and Gender Studies at the University of Alberta invites applications from qualified instructors for the following course scheduled for the Winter 2017 semester.


WGS 220: Feminism and Popular Culture, Tuesdays and Thursdays 9:30 - 10:50

A Ph.D. in Women's and Gender studies or a related field, at or near completion, is required. Applicants should demonstrate excellence in teaching at the undergraduate level; experience teaching in the field of Women's and Gender Studies is an asset. Interested applicants should send a cover letter as well as a CV and teaching evaluations for up to the past three years to the Chair, Susanne Luhmann, c/o Lex Bos at lbos@ualberta.ca by Friday December 2, 2016. In accordance with the Contract Academic Staff Teaching agreement, salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.


For instructors who have taught in Women's and Gender Studies in the last two years, only a cover letter or email indicating interest is required.
