Damian, who identifies as Muxe, shares their story about what it means to be Muxe, the challenges they overcome, and the beauty of their traditions. Muxes are commonly referred to as a third gender, however as Damian explains this term apart from being confined to a western framework of gender binaries is insufficient to describe the essence of Muxeidad. Instead, Damian suggests that we understand Muxes as a third soul.
