William Muir Edwards Citizenship Award

WME logo

The William Muir Edwards Citizenship Award, named in honour of our faculty’s founding professor, recognizes Faculty of Engineering undergraduate students who’ve made exceptional contributions to society. It’s a celebration of citizenship, leadership and of young people who go to extraordinary lengths to make our world a better place.

Students may be nominated by anyone and are selected by a diverse committee made up of Faculty of Engineering faculty, staff, students, alumni and industry partners. Up to five $10,000 awards are available and successful students will be officially inducted into the William Muir Edwards Society at a special ceremony on June 4, 2019.

The nomination period for the 2019 awards is now closed. The 2020 award nomination period will open in the fall of 2019. Keep checking back here for more details.
