Why Study With Us - Undergraduate Programs

Our award winning teachers and researchers will help you discover, think and see in new ways. Students can follow their passions by taking courses spanning a broad range of topics, cultures, histories and perspectives. Among many others, you can explore social justice, Shakespeare, gender & sexuality, global issues, Indigenous literature, creative writing, film & television, children's literature, and digital media studies.

Our classes (typically ranging from 12-40 students) provide plenty of opportunity for direct and meaningful interaction with professors.

Our Undergraduate student group, EFSUN, also brings like-minded students together for numerous events and activities.

We also have your post-degree career firmly in mind, with our certificates, community service learning, and work experience options. The Arts Work Experience (AWE) matches employers and students for hands-on, career-building partnerships.

Study in EFS provides you with rich experience engaging collectively and critically with culture; a broad education; and enduring skills, applicable to any workplace.
