2021 ImagineNATIVE Presents: Short Films Focus, in partnership with Augustana Campus, University of Alberta

Join us for a selection of dynamic short films including documentary, dramatic, and animation created by Indigenous filmmakers; presented at the 2020 imagineNATIVE Film + Media Arts Festival. Following the screening will be an artist talk featuring Theola Ross, Glenn Gearr, Tom Mcloed, and Lisa Jackson.

Joining us for the artist talk is U of A alumnus and filmmaker Conor McNally ‘15 BA (NativeStuHons) with a special guest screening of his recent short film Very Present.

This event is offered in collaboration with the Jeanne and Peter Lougheed Performing Arts Centre, the National Film Board, the Faculty of Native Studies, and the Augustana Campus, University of Alberta. The 2021 imagineNATIVE Tour brings Indigenous-made film and video works, as well as community engagement activities, to communities across Turtle Island (Canada).

This event is part of Augustana Campus' 110 celebrations.
