The interdisciplinary research conducted by the HeaLS group is generously funded by a number of organizations including the Alberta Heritage Foundation for Medical Research (AHFMR) -- currently known as Alberta Innovates Health Solutions -- Alberta Health Services, the Canadian Institutes for Health Research (CIHR), the Cancer Stem Cell Consortium (CSCC), Genome Alberta, Genome Canada, and the Stem Cell Network (SCN) and AllerGen, two of Canada's Networks of Centers of Excellence.
