City of Edmonton Graduate Fellowship
Eligibility
- Nominee is preparing a master's or PhD thesis
- Nominee is a permanent resident of the City of Edmonton who has lived in Edmonton for at least 5 years
- Nominee's research must be in Economics, Geography, Political Science, Sociology, or Business as related to civic government
- Given to nominees selecting topics directly concerned with the City of Edmonton
- Open to Canadian citizens.
- Open to permanent residents.
- Open to foreign nationals holding Canadian study permits.
- Open to applicants in doctoral programs.
- Open to applicants in masters programs.
- Open to applicants in thesis-based study programs.
How to apply
By nomination only. Students should contact their department for details on their application process. Nominations are submitted to GPS by the Department (or Faculty) and will be part of a competitive adjudication. The Graduate Scholarship Committee makes the final decision.
