  • Satisfactory academic standing
  • Agricultural and Resource Economics
  • Registered in a masters or doctoral program in the Department of Resource Economics and Environmental Sociology
  • Preference given to a student registered in the Agricultural and Resource Economics graduate program in the Department of Resource Economics and Environmental Sociology
  • Based on academic achievement. Financial need may be taken into consideration
  • Recipient must not currently be holding a major award valued at 15000 dollars or more during the tenure of this award
  • Open to Canadian citizens
  • Open to permanent residents
  • Open to foreign nationals holding Canadian study permits
  • Open to applicants in thesis-based study programs
  • Open to applicants in doctoral programs
  • Open to applicants in masters programs
  • Open to full time and part time registered students

By nomination only. Students should contact their department for details on the application process. Nominations are submitted to GPS by the Department (or Faculty). The Graduate Scholarship Committee makes the final decision.
