Field Law Leilani Muir Graduate Research Scholarship
Eligibility
- Open to Canadian citizens.
- Open to permanent residents.
- Open to foreign nationals holding Canadian study permits.
- Open to applicants in course-based study programs.
- Open to applicants in thesis-based study programs.
- Open to applicants in doctoral programs.
- Open to applicants in masters programs.
- Students are required to have a 3.5 or greater to be eligible.
- The scholarship will be offered on a rotational basis among the departments of: Sociology, Psychology, and History and Classics Nominee must demonstrate substantial social science or humanities research promise and an interest in further developing their research skills.
- Preference will be given to students with research interests in the area of human rights, persons with disabilities, or social well-being.
- At the end of the academic year, recipients are required to submit a report to the graduate awards committee of the Dept in which they are studying describing how this scholarship has enhanced their research.
How to apply
By Nomination Only: Students should contact their department for details on their application process. Nominations are submitted to GPS by the Department (or Faculty). The Graduate Scholarship Committee makes the final decision.
