Eligibility

  • School of Library and information Studies, Faculty of Education
  • Nominees are eligible to hold this award after completing a minimum of six courses
  • Based on academic accomplishment
  • Based on the merit of the travel proposal
  • Supports travel expenses to attend a technology/IT conference/other universities for training: travel, registration, etc.; where student will interact with colleagues & receive important information/advice re: student's research
  • A recipient may receive this award only once
  • Open to Canadian citizens.
  • Open to permanent residents.
  • Open to foreign nationals holding Canadian study permits.
  • Open to applicants in doctoral programs.
  • Open to applicants in masters programs.
  • Open to applicants in course-based study programs.
  • Open to applicants in thesis-based study programs.

By nomination only. Students should contact their department for details on their application process. Nominations are submitted to GPS by the Department (or Faculty). The Graduate Scholarship Committee makes the final decision.
