Eligibility

  • Superior Academic Standing (equivalent to a grade point average of 3.5 or greater on the University of Alberta scale)
  • Department of Educational Psychology
  • Nominee must be entering an applied Master's degree program
  • Awarded on the basis of superior academic standing
  • Preference will be given to a nominee entering the graduate program directly following the completion of an undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Education
  • If no full-time student is eligible in any given year, a part-time student may be considered
  • Open to Canadian citizens.
  • Open to permanent residents.
  • Open to foreign nationals holding Canadian study permits.
  • Open to applicants in masters programs.
  • Open to applicants in course-based study programs.
  • Open to applicants in thesis-based study programs.


How to apply

By nomination only. Students should contact their department for details on their application process. Nominations are submitted to GPS by the Department (or Faculty). The Graduate Scholarship Committee makes the final decision.
