Eligibility

  • Open to Canadian citizens.
  • Open to permanent residents.
  • Open to foreign nationals holding Canadian study permits.
  • Open to applicants in thesis-based study programs.
  • Open to applicants in doctoral programs.
  • Open to applicants in masters programs.
  • Satisfactory academic standing.
  • Enrolled in a Masters or Doctoral program in the Faculty of Engineering.
  • Given to a student with a demonstrated interest in one of the areas of digitalization, data capture, application of data analytics for energy industry, mechanical actuation systems, or wireless shifting technologies.
  • Based on academic achievement.
  • Based on relevance of the student's research to the preference criterion.
  • This award was created to honour the work and research efforts of Dr. Pedram Mousavi and Dr. Mojgan Daneshmand.


How to apply

By Nomination Only: Students should contact their department for details on their application process. Nominations are submitted to GPS by the Department (or Faculty) and will be part of a competitive adjudication. The Graduate Scholarship Committee makes the final decision.
