The
Department of Philosophy is pleased to announce that Gurukulam will premier on February 2nd at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival. Co-directed by Jillian Elizabeth and Philosophy and Religious Studies Professor Neil Dalal, and set in a remote South Indian ashram, Gurukulam is a sensory experiential cinema-verité documentary film that explores the life and practices of a contemporary lineage of the Advaita Vedānta philosophical tradition.
