Researcher Recognized by The Royal Society

Department of Philosophy and Women's and Gender Studies researcher among first members of College of New Scholars, Artists and Scientists

The Department of Philosophy is very proud to announce that Dr. Chloë Taylor has been inducted by The Royal Society of Canada to the inaugural class of the The College of New Scholars, Artists and Scientists.

The mandate of the College is: "To gather scholars, artists and scientists at a highly productive stage of their careers into a single collegium where new advances in understanding will emerge from the interaction of diverse intellectual, cultural and social perspectives."

Dr. Taylor is an Assistant Professor with a joint appointment in the Department of Philosophy and the Department of Women's and Gender Studies. Dr. Taylor's current research focuses on feminist philosophy, Foucault studies, sexuality studies, Critical Animal Studies, and the Philosophy of Food.
