STEPHANIE PATSULA

November 24 - 27, 2020
FAB Gallery

The body of artist Stephanie Patsula forms a site of exploration, as it is reflected and repeated within the digital and physical environment of FAB Gallery. The duality of performance art represented is activated by Stephanie's choice to install documentation of the ephemeral moment, along with instances of the live body. Displays of intimacy are hidden and revealed with each mediation of the self, challenging distinctions between body, object, and viewer. This confluence of past, present and projected future displayed simultaneously, through the use of digital photography, video installation, and sound exploration, ultimately creates spaces for immediacy and connection beyond linear time. This is the final visual presentation for the degree of Master of Fine Arts in Intermedia.
