U of A Friendship Bench

What is the Friendship Bench?

The bright yellow bench is a reminder to students, and others in the U of A community, to take a moment out of their busy day to sit, breathe, and reflect on their mental health, and that of their peers.

The intention of the Friendship Bench is to foster an environment where students feel free to talk and learn about mental health, and are encouraged to seek help if they are concerned about their mental well-being.
