Computer Equipment Purchasing and Delays

As previously communicated over the past year, there is an unprecedented situation with the global shipping system which has severely affected the supply and delivery dates of all computers, monitors, docking stations, accessories, etc. We have been seeing ETAs of four to six months for many items. This puts many orders that have been submitted to IST at risk, including some submitted months ago that were expected for this fiscal year (ending March 31, 2022).

We will be gathering reports from SupplyNet and from our preferred suppliers to determine any equipment that has already been ordered that will not arrive before the end of this fiscal year. IST will communicate with the purchasers of each order that is at risk and discuss options, and do the same for any requests to purchase that have been submitted but not ordered yet.

Therefore, at this time, we ask that you do not submit any further computer equipment requests before the end of this fiscal year.
