Training for Online Classes & Remote Meetings

Online Classes & Meetings

Whether capturing a lecture, or meeting with a client remotely, we’ll streamline the setup of equipment and offer training for both web and video conferencing services.

  • Zoom Webinars
    We provide the Zoom Webinar platform to host your next online event! IST’s licenses can accommodate events up to 500 or 1000 participants.
  • Using Zoom Meeting
    Zoom Meeting is a synchronous presentation tool integrated with eClass that allows instructors to use video, audio, and screen sharing to interact with up to 300 students. Features include recording, breakout rooms, whiteboard, and more. This service is currently available for use to all Faculty and Staff at the U of A.   • Using Google Meet
    Google Meet is a synchronous platform designed for live online video meetings with up to 100 users. This application is offered as a part of the U of A's Google Suite and can integrate easily with Google Calendar and other tools. Apps also exist for Android and iOS devices. Learn More.

On Campus Video Meetings

We provide training, equipment, and on-site or on-call assistance to help bring distanced students into a class, connect with a group of people, or have a guest present remotely.

  • Due to COVID we currently do not have technicians stationed on campus for immediate onsite support but we can provide immediate remote support and have someone onsite as soon as possible. Contact Us.
