Our pharmacists can help with minor medical ailments. These include but are not limited to:
- Simple urinary tract infections
- Fungal infections (like athlete's foot, yeast infections, thrush, and toenail fungus)
- Cold sores
- Dermatitis
- Conjunctivitis
- Allergies
- Simple muscle sprains and strains
- Minor acne
- Menstrual pain
- Heartburn
- Indigestion
We can also prescribe birth control, renew ongoing prescriptions (some exceptions apply), and transfer most prescriptions from any pharmacy in Canada.

Fees
There is no charge for the initial assessment with valid Alberta Health Care.
You will have to pay for any specific prescriptions you need. Many private insurance plans (including U of A undergraduate, graduate, post-doc and staff plans) may cover a significant portion of the cost of the products.
