Music Among Friends: Prairie Connections

ESO Principal Cellist Rafael Hoekman is joined by his collaborative partner Maria Protodyakonova (pianist) and distinguished Professor of Violin from the University of Saskatchewan Veronique Mathieu for an incredible evening of varied styles of music. First, Rafael and Maria play Schubert's beautiful and lyrical "Arpeggione" Sonata. Then the impressionist Trio of Maurice Ravel when Raf and Maria are joined by Veronique. Lastly, a Romantic powerhouse among old and new friends: Dvorak's Dumky Trio with folk inspired drama and beauty.
