What spurred you on to be an Honors student in the department?

I've always been a perfectionist and the Honors programs was a great opportunity for me to strive for greater academic achievement.

What is the best thing about being an Honors student in the department of MLCS?

In the Honors programs, you're among a great group of like-minded students. It's a great way to make friends and to share study tips.

Cause(s) you care about

I'm passionate about promoting literacy. I believe education is the key to not only self-improvement but also the best way to improve our communities.

Tell us about a topic you are excited to do research about (e.g., your current Honors thesis)

I'm very passionate about translation and look forward to doing more practical translation work. I'm particularly interested in translation of children's literature - it poses a unique set of challenges.

Use the resources at your disposal. Don't be afraid to approach professors or librarians with questions.

The first thing you plan do after graduating.

I plan to attend Law School. Becoming a lawyer is my lifelong dream.
