Applications for the 2023/2024 Student Advisory Committee will reopen to new-to-UAlberta students in late August/early September. Please keep an eye on this page for information on applying.

As a member, you will have the opportunity to provide feedback and input on Office of the Registrar activities and initiatives that directly impact students. The Student Advisory Committee also acts as a resource and focus group for various campus partners.
The Student Advisory Committee provides feedback and advice on topics including:
- Student service levels and student expectations
- Prospective student recruitment events and publications
- Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion initiatives within the RO
- Student Financial Support
- University Calendar updates
- And many more!
Join us to gain valuable experience in a committee setting and build relationships with university staff and other students who are passionate about great service.
Time Commitment and Schedule
A time commitment of two hours per month from September to April is required. Meetings will be virtual and held monthly during the academic year, excluding December and April. Each meeting will be scheduled on Tuesday evenings from 5 - 7 p.m. (MST) and will be held virtually. Optional social opportunities for volunteers (TBD) may also be available.
