Fall 2024 / Winter 2025 Exam Planner

The University is transitioning to three exam slots per day during the final exam period: 8:30 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. If students are scheduled to write three (3) or more final examinations within four (4) consecutive time slots, they will be eligible to request rescheduling of one of the exams. More information for students and instructors will be available ahead of the fall term.

Students writing their exams with approved academic accommodations must confirm their exam accommodations with the Academic Success Centre. Academic Success Centre contact information can be found on their website.

Augustana Faculty students - please note! The Fall 2024/Winter 2025 final examination schedule for students in Augustana Faculty will not follow the schedule below. Augustana Faculty students should check this page for information on the availability of exam schedules.   • Examinations (if any) for all courses offered at 5:00 p.m. or later will be conducted in the last regularly scheduled class period before exams week (except for courses in the MBA Program).
  • For classes that start at times not listed above, the exam will normally be held according to the schedule for classes starting on the preceding hour. For example, if you have a Fall Term class that begins on a Monday at 1:30 p.m., your exam will follow the MWF 1:00 p.m. exam period, therefore your exam will be held at 1:00 p.m.Tuesday, December 17.
  • For asynchronous course sections - the final exam date and time can be determined by the following methods:
    • The exam may be held on the last scheduled class date.
    • The instructor may determine the exam date and time by including it on the  syllabus. Any conflicts with another exam that is following the exam planner will require the instructor to reschedule the exam for affected students. 
    • The instructor may determine the exam date by obtaining unanimous consent through a class poll.
