Featuring new student compositions by Mari Alice Conrad, Benedek Gaal, Tatiana Gorchynski, Deepak Paramashivan, Niaz Pirzadeh, Thomas Powell, Ali Ramsden, Rigel Rendon, Kurt Stenner
Join XImE, the University of Alberta's improvisation ensemble for an evening of eclectic and exciting new improvisation-based musical works, all of which have been composed and conceived by University of Alberta composition students and members of the ensemble. Diverse elements of performative expression — such as graphic scores, movement, props, and interpretive conducting — will be showcased at this unique concert event.
This concert is a part of the Department of Music's 2022-2023 "Department of Music Presents" Series.
