2023 AHS Flu Campaign Stats

AHS has successfully concluded the 2023 Flu Shot Campaign. A big "thank you" to all the hardworking immunizers.

Week One: 2,495 immunizations

  • Up by 672 compared to same time last year
  • Many staff continue to take the Rapid Test kits when offered

Week Two: 3,994 immunizations

  • Almost 4,000 have been immunized, compared to a total of 5,500 last year. We are well ahead of last year, with two more weeks to go.
  • Both onsite Rexall pharmacies ran out of the COVID vaccine by Day 2 of their campaign. They delivered 300 doses; 80% of those being immunized were staff.

Week Three: 5,008 immunizations

  • Last year, a total of 5,500 immunizations were completed in 5 weeks.

Week Four: 6,076 immunizations

  • This was made possible by the great collaboration between the SC immunizers, WHS, and Rexall and KEC pharmacies in immunizing people on site. The immunizers worked hard, providing outstanding coverage to the locations of WMC, MAZ, Stollery, KEC, Aberhart, and CSB, as well as to AKC-N staff.
  • AHS had a lot of first-time immunizers this year who had a lot of fun immunizing. Past immunizers were constantly looking to see how many more they can immunize and beat their personal best records.
