We are thrilled to announce Nada Chehayeb has been awarded the Jan Chalk Award for Contract Instructors. Nada has been teaching French in our department for over a decade. Her coordinator, Mathieu,describes her as professional, honest, smart, creative, fun, and hard working. Student reviews highlight many of these qualities:
…Nada was a gem. She was always supportive even when we struggled (…) and seems to genuinely love the language and enjoy teaching it. She even got our class to perform a song for a cultural day on campus, and in order to support us, brought her daughters to help sing along and she sang right along with us. … I would absolutely take a class with her again.
