We are thrilled to announce that MLCS graduate Dr. Amir Khadem (Comparative Literature, 2017) has been named the winner of the American Comparative Literature Association's prestigious 2018 Bernheimer Prize for Best Dissertation. Dr. Khadem's dissertation, completed under the supervision of Dr. Jerry Varsava, is entitled Endemic Pains and Pandemic Traumas: The Narrative Construction of Public Memory in Iran, Palestine, and the United States.
