Mathieu Martin-LeBlanc wins 2018 CSL Instructor Teaching Award

28 March 2018

We are thrilled to announce that Mathieu Martin-LeBlanc was unanimously selected to win the 2018 CSL Instructor Teaching Award by the Faculty of Arts. As the committee notes, Mathieu is an "exceptional teacher, dedicated to enriching the undergraduate student experience and to fostering student engagement and success."

Mathieu has been teaching French and Spanish in MLCS for over a decade and we have all benefited from his teaching skills and his enthusiasm for students. Mathieu contributes to the life of our department in innumerable ways -- organizing the Boîte à Chanson, organizing CSL sections and opportunities, mentoring our graduate students as they embark on teaching, coordinating our language instructors, and bringing his musical talents to our events.

Congratulations, Mathieu! He will be honoured at the Arts Awards Night on Thursday May 3.
