Overview
The program covers topics as diverse as architecture, tourism, climate change, earth sciences, and history.
The course also takes you beyond the classroom and into the mountains in a series of field trips and case studies tied to the latest in current research.
Last year, participants discovered the Vercors range to learn first-hand about economic policy and changing local cultural practices. They also traveled for a two-day trip to Lautaret pass and its geological transect to meet with UGA researchers, to see the unique and beautiful botanical gardens and experienced sleeping in a mountain shelter.

Fees & Costs
Education Abroad Nomination Fee: $250
Participants may choose to enroll in all three weeks, or one or two only. The cost is € 750 per week, including housing, cultural activities, and mountain field trips.
Program fees do not cover airfare, most meals, mandatory insurance, or other personal expenses. Please visit the UGA website for further information on the program.
