Cancer-related Studies

Ethics applications must be submitted to and reviewed by the Health Research Ethics Board of Alberta - Cancer Committee (HREBA:CC)

"Cancer-related Studies" include:

1. Clinical trials involving patients with a cancer diagnosis.
2. Studies evaluating the clinical care and management of cancer patients, including palliative and psychosocial well-being.
3. Studies using cancer registries or bio repositories for participant identification or recruitment.
4. Studies seeking identifiable samples or health data from established cancer data or bio-repositories for secondary use.
