Career Cafes

Career Cafes are a casual networking event which will connect students to potential future employers and provide students with an opportunity to chat with professionals in their field of interest.

There will be 12 Career Cafes (6 in the Fall term, 6 in the Winter term) which will take place from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm in our beautiful new Carruthers Student Commons space (main floor Business Building).

Jan 25 Business Analytics Taste of Tech
Feb 8 Not For Profit
Feb 15 Sustainability 
Feb 29 Retail/Marketing
Mar 7 Accounting
Mar 21 Construction/Development/Real Estate

 

Each organization will host a table, and students will drop in during the event to have informal conversations with the organizations. Topics to discuss include recruitment, pathways to success, the organization’s goals and more. The purpose of this event is to enable students to expand their network in a casual setting and allow organizations to
promote themselves while inspiring students.
