Coaching Services
Coaching is recognized as an invaluable tool for developing individuals to reach their true potential and research supports that self-awareness is one of the key components of successful leaders of today.
Our ICF certified coaches are your personal thought partners and bring to the career conversation a breadth of experience as they guide you in the discovery of your own brand and career direction by using personal assessments, meaningful conversations, and providing tactical advice. By engaging in the process, you will courageously learn about yourself, what the world of work means to you, and your position in it.
Career Services and the coaching models are unique to the Masters' programs and are customized to meet the needs of the student groups they serve. Full-time students benefit from a robust coaching program that includes allocated coaching hours with their own assigned coach and two courses that focus on self-awareness and tactical job search strategies to help students navigate a career pivot. The part-time and specialty masters programs also have coaching and customized programming. The Executive MBA program has six dedicated Executive Coaches who are experts in their field and can provide guidance on topics such as work/life balance and starting your own business.

Internships
Internships are a wonderful way to apply learning from the classroom to the real world and develop skills that will help transition you in your career. Participating in an internship provides the opportunity to showcase your abilities to a potential employer, builds your professional reputation within and outside of the organization, and expands your network. Many organizations recruit for permanent positions from their internship talent pool.
Internships occur over the summer months (May-August) and recruitment can start as early as September (yes, the month you start the program) for positions the following year. To participate, you must be a student in good standing with the program and have completed all required career courses. Please note, we do not directly place students into positions, rather we give them the skills to be successful in the application process and teach them how to manage their career for success in the future.

Orientation
An intensive orientation launches the career experience for our full-time students and provides a starting point for reflection of your career journey. During the week, you will interact with your cohort to learn more about yourself and your team. The community that is built endures well beyond the week into the school year and beyond.
