Enabled Voice Mail (EVM)

Purpose

Enabled Voice Mail (EVM) is a subscription-based service paid by the Alberta School of Business for all employees. EVM converts voice mail messages into MP3 audio files and then sends as an attachment to your email address. Having access to your personal voicemail through your email account has several advantages including:

  • The ability to stay-in-touch while traveling by accessing your voicemail from anywhere in the world via a computer connected to the Internet.
  • The ability to stay-in-touch while traveling by accessing your voicemail from anywhere in the world via a smart phone with a media player.
  • The ability to forward voicemail messages to other contacts so they may also listen to the message and perhaps comment as necessary.
  • The ability to maintain a complete record of all your voicemail messages through time - and recall if necessary.

Instructions

If you are interested in subscribing to the EVM service then please email the General Office at business.generaloffice@ualberta.ca.
