Why the UAlberta Energy MBA?

Earn Your Degree While Continuing to Work

The program is built with working professionals in mind. With the majority of courses being delivered online, you have the flexibility to study and learn around your own schedule. Whether you are in Kitimat, Grande Prairie, Weyburn, St. John’s or anywhere in between, the online format allows you to complete the UAlberta MBA from outside of Edmonton.

Blended Format

Our blended delivery format allows you to complete the majority of the program online, with three in-person sessions offering the chance to get to know and interact with your peers and professors on a more personal level. This approach offers both the flexibility of an online program with the personal connection of in-person study.

Energy Industry Focus

The program is designed to cover key business fundamentals and then focus on topics directly relevant to the energy and natural resources sectors. In-person classes will be held in Edmonton, Ft. McMurray, and Calgary to provide students with exposure to key individuals in the operational, regulatory, and financial areas of the industry. With your peers also bringing their industry experience into the classroom, you will expand not only your network but your industry knowledge base. The UAlberta Energy MBA will help prepare you to become a leader within the energy and natural resources sectors.
