Clubs and Student Life

All students in the MBA program are part of the MBA Association (MBAA). As the voice of students, the MBAA exists to improve the overall experience of the MBA program. The MBA Association actively works to promote involvement and social interaction within the student body and also works to foster strong relationships between students, faculty, alumni, and the broader business community.

Women in the MBA

"Gender diversity and inclusiveness in the Alberta MBA program is not only important, but it is essential to us. We recognize that the representation of women in corporate leadership roles is connected to positive outcomes for women, families, organizations, and society as a whole. Academic institutions play a vital role in developing and inspiring women, and we take this seriously in the Alberta MBA program through a number of initiatives." - Dr. Michael Maier, Associate Dean, Business Master's Office

On-Campus Student Resources

Not only are you part of the MBA network, but you are also a part of the broader University of Alberta community. In addition to the MBA Association, you would belong to the Graduate Student Association which represents graduate students from all faculties at the University of Alberta. The University is also home to ~40,000 students and a huge number of recreational, fitness, lifestyle, and cultural opportunities.
