Leading Laterally helps employees to lead from where they are — to exert influence laterally and upwards — and to evolve their leadership identity as they prepare for the transition from a high-performing individual contributor to supervisor.


Leading Laterally is designed for University of Alberta employees who are individual contributors.


This program is currently under development. We anticipate a pilot in the 2023-2024 academic year.
