We are proud to provide an opportunity to preview a new film entitled "Living Drugs" showcasing the groundbreaking research of Dr. Michel Sadelain which has revolutionized cancer treatment with the genetic engineering of a patient’s own T cells.

Join us in honouring U of A alum Dr. Michel Sadelain, recipient of the 2024 Breakthrough Prize in Life Sciences - dubbed the “Oscars of Science” - who will be in attendance!

Following the film, a Q & A session with Dr. Sadelain (Memorial Sloan Kettering), Dr. Michael Chu (Cross Cancer Institute & FoMD) and Dr. Hanne Ostergaard (Director, Cancer Institute of Northern Alberta and FoMD) will be facilitated by Dr. Lorne Tyrrell, Distinguished University Professor at the U of A.
