CBD Resources

All members of the PGME community play a crucial role in preparing future physicians. This resource section and its subpages are dedicated to providing a wealth of information to support the integration and effective management of the Competence by Design (CBD) framework.

Residents

Resources targeted specifically toward residents active in CBD programs or programs preparing to launch in CBD.

Faculty

Resources dedicated to supporting general faculty members teaching and supervising residents in CBD.

Programs

Resources to support programs (PDs and PAs) and faculty who hold specific CBD-related roles (CC Chairs, Academic Advisors, CBD Leads) in the implementation, launch, and maintenance of CBD.

.med Suite Resources

The “dot med” suite (.med) refers to CBME.med, DASH.med, and DATA.med. These three web platforms act as our assessment software suite.
