Financial Literacy Workshops
UAI will be offering financial literacy workshops for students in 2024. Students will have the opportunity to attend workshops and seminars both in person as well as online. Some workshop sessions that will be covered include the following:
- Understanding of banking in Canada
- Student Budgeting
- What Newcomers Need to Know about Credit, Credit History/Score
- Fraud and Cyber Fraud: What it is, how it happens, and how to protect yourself
- Investment – TFSA/RRSP/FHSA
