Intercultural Events

The UAI ISVS team provides a variety of programs to promote intercultural events and facilitate cultural integration for International students. These events will include content that will familiarize students and assist them with their intercultural learning, adaptation, and survival skills while attending the University of Alberta. Some events that we will be hosting this year include the following:

• Camping 101, Wild for Wildlife, Survive Outside with Parks Canada
• Multicultural potlucks
• Indigenous education events (films, guest speakers, attending a Pow Wow, outdoor excursions)
• Intercultural and cross-cultural communications workshops for students
• Celebration of international and cultural events
• Presentations on the history of Canadian holidays and celebrations
