We will collaborate and consult with you to explore, fully understand, and solve your educational challenges.
What is it like working with us?
Our team begins each project with consultation and open-ended exploration. We often workshop with you to discover your ideas and blend them with our expertise. Consultation may begin with an existing project, or an idea for something new. It may involve coming up with ideas to respond to teaching challenges, exploring possible uses of a new technology in the classroom, or developing an educational research question. If solving your educational challenges goes beyond design, our interdisciplinary team is positioned to learn and/or leverage our connections to achieve your goals.
In project consultations we aim to provide value before the project begins by sharing knowledge with clients about:
- other projects underway in the Faculty
- effective strategies in use by colleagues
- available resources
- and best practices in technology and learning design
Flexible Design
We provide a flexible range of design services and technology.
These include:
- Visual communication design (graphic design, illustration, typography)
- Website development and hosting
- Information Design (form and layout design, infographics, chart generation)
- Audio-visual services (video recording, audio capture, editing, basic animation)
- 3D printing (segmentation, model creation)
- Course design and development
- Knowledge translation
