2022 Global Health Fair
The annual Global Health Fair focuses on global health education and research relating to biomedical science, individuals and communities. The Global Health Fair provides an opportunity for researchers, clinicians and educators to share their medical knowledge and scholarship on various topics related to global health, as well as provide an opportunity for networking and bridge-building across disciplines. As with previous Fairs, the 6th Annual Global Health Fair will be held in conjunction and in collaboration with the Biomedical Global Health Research Network (BGHRN) and University of Alberta International (UAI) International Week events Feb. 1 - Feb. 7, 2022.
The theme of February 3rd is "Global Health and a Changing Environment". The Keynote speaker is Dr. Desiree LaBeaud, MD, MS, FASTMH who will be speaking on From Arboviruses to Justice: Efforts To Create a Sustainable World and Populace Using an Arboviral Perspective.
The theme of February 4th is "Women & Children's Health". Keynote speaker is Dr. Andy Knight, BA, MA, FRSC, PhD who will be speaking on the Impact of War on Children.
