Tier 3: Supervising for Service Excellence

Tier 3: Supervising for Service Excellence is currently under development and will launch in the Winter term 2024. Watch the Working at the U newsletter for more information about when the program will officially launch!

Tier 3: Supervising for Service Excellence is designed for managers, supervisors, team leads and those with people leading responsibilities to build service excellence in their team. People leaders will work alongside their team members to develop behaviours that support service excellence. You will begin your journey to understanding the leadership skills that inspire those in your charge to build a culture of service excellence. You will build skills to support conversations with staff about their strengths and to identify places where development is needed. The skills you will build in Tier 3 are supported by practical tools that support peer mentorship strategies and support the integration of service excellence competencies into the performance development process. You will also have the opportunity to identify your own training needs, including leadership programming such as Leading Others and Management Intensive.

Leaders completing Supervising for Service Excellence are expected to complete Foundations and Focus + Deepen alongside their team before entering Tier 3.
